Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
So this week I installed on my Mac's and iPhone and iPad the update to Messages but noticed that the messages that I had from before certain date are not there and since Apple hates deleting data on users how can one retrieve old messages from previous phone numbers that they have used on a iPhone, since the data should be tracked by both email and phone number.
iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)
Forever it seems at Apple is not "Forever" when it comes to messages. In the Options you have on an iPhone you have a choice of:
30 Days
1 Year
Forever.
I thought forever meant Forever, not only four years. Apple needs to reword that on their software.
