iTunes Remote app on my iPhone stopped working

I use the iTunes Remote app on my iPhone 8 with AppleTV. It has worked fine for 2 years and now all of a sudden it says "Turn on Home Sharing in iTunes ...." But Home Sharing is turned on, both on my computer and on Apple TV. So why I am getting this message?

iPhone 8, iOS 11.4

Verify that your phone is connecting to the same network as the iTunes computer (and the Apple TV). If it connects to a different Wi-Fi network or reverts to 4G, then it will not be able to connect to iTunes.

If you changed your Apple ID name or password recently, then the old credentials may still be cached for the iTunes Remote app. That would block access to the iTunes Library. Turn Home Sharing off and on in the iTunes Remote app Settings to allow entering current credentials.
