Since upgrading to iOS 11.4 yesterday, there is one beep between each song and two if I skip a song in iPhone Music App (not Apple Music). The beeps were definitely not there before the upgrade.
Anyone know why or how to turn them off??

I am have the beeps on the Apple Music Player in conjunction with a car Bluetooth receiver. I just tried raising the volume on the iPhone to max (using the buttons). The beeps disappear when volume is at max and reappear at any lower volume setting. Thanks to all who suggested the issue is related to volume control.

Update: The 11.4.1 fix didn't last more than a day or two. I think the problem recurs as soon as you manually forward a song using the headphones...but can't be sure.
Sad news: After about six months of beep-free listening, the beeps are back! All I did was upgrade to 12.0. Everything else remained the same.

That's interesting but not feasible for everyone with headphones that generally don't have an independent volume that is separate from the phone's volume.
Turn the volume on your phone all the way up. Should resolve it (until you turn the volume down again, that is).
Yeah, good point. My bluetooth headphones (Jaybird X3 do have their own volume controls). Lets hope Apple gets their **** together on this issue.
What were the results with each device with the phone volume at MAX?

It blows my ears away,
and it still beeps between the songs!
I tried: setting the volume to max on phone
and setting the volume to max on earphones.
But it still beeps!
Sorry, but the aformentioned workaround works only with volume at max!
So, this is no fundamental solution!
With my pair of Sennheiser headphones (HD 4.40) that doesn't work.
It works for me if I turn the volume to max and keep it at max!!!!!!!
But that's far too loud.

Still happening on 12.1. Same thing for me, started with 11.4. It's almost like Apple doesn't want me to llisten to my own music or something?
