Stuck on a guest or admin login page

I started up my macbook pro as I usually do, but now a grey screen appears with another login page. This is the first time this has happened so im not sure if its a guest account login or administration login. But im stuck & cannot move forward no matter what I try. Ive searched and tried different possible solutions from the internet but nothing seems work. Any suggestions?

MacBook Stuck on guest user login My kid messed with my computer. So I shut it down. Now it takes me straight to guest user. I don’t know the password! Also tried other things but there’s no apple symbol. There’s literally nothing else to click on! I tried restarting and clicking the command R...nothing! I’m stuck! 😥

I can't login Hi,On starting my Macbook Air clicking my user icon and entering my password the status bar loads to about 50% then freezes. The screen then goes blank for about 30 seconds and intermittently comes on and off indefinitely, never loading past 50%.I can start and browse as a guest user but it won't allow me to login under my own account.
