How do i calibrate my iphone 8 compass

If the compass requires calibration, it will tell you as much when you open the Compass App.

If it is not requesting it, it means its currently calibrated and does not need it.

Thank you. By chance my iphone was updated to iOS 11.4 and the problem went away.
