Connection logging enabled in title bar of Mail?

I updated my iOS on iPhone and had to make new password for iTunes.

Since then i get the message above, and cannot get my iCloud mail account online on my macbook?

In iCloud online and on my iPhone i do receive mails.

What does the message "Connection logging enabled" mean? And how do i fix this?

Since june 1ste i keep getting problems having to re-enter long saved and foregotten passwords? Results in nothing working properly.

Hi Leen,

Thanks for following up with the extra details. Since you've changed your password, you may need to update your sign-in information with the rest of the Apple services you use. Let's have you go through the steps within the following guide for what to do after you change your password: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password

Let me know how the provided suggestion works for you.

Kind regards.

Greetings leenfrommerksplas,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you see information within the title bar of the Mail app which states that "Connection logging is enabled" while you're using Mail on your Mac.

The status you're seeing is referring to an option which is enabled with the Mail Connection Doctor feature. In Mail, if you select Window > Connection Doctor, you'll see an option for "Log Connection Activity". When that option is enabled, you'll see the status of "Connection Logging Enabled" within Mail.

You can read more information regarding Mail Connection Doctor from the following guide: Use Mail Connection Doctor

Since Mail Connection Doctor can be used to help resolve issues that arise in Mail, do you see any helpful information when you view Mail Connection Doctor? You can also view helpful troubleshooting tips for using iCloud Mail from the following guide: Get help using iCloud Mail

Since you mention your iCloud Mail is offline, the following section may prove helpful:

If you can't receive mail in the Mail app on macOS

Find the name of your iCloud email account on the left side of the main Mail window. If your account name is dimmed and has a lightning-bolt symbol next to it, your account is offline. To take your account online, connect to the Internet, then choose Mailbox > Take All Accounts Online.

If you still can't receive email, get more help with your Mail app.

Let me know how the steps within the provided guide work for you.

Cheers!
