Does anyone know of an app that can be installed on the ipad\iphone and then on a PC an IT technician can connect to the device using the app and have complete control over it?
So if someone calls me and needs help, but my instructions over the phone are not fixing the issue I can just login remotely and fix it as if the ipad was infront of me.
Similar to teamviewer on an android.
Ok, sorry that didn't work out for you.
I am only aware that you would have to jail-break an iOS device in order to remotely control it from a Mac or PC. Definitely not recommended.
If you wish to pursue this anyway, just do a web search for "Remote control iOS from Mac." You should find a number of articles explaining the various methods to try.

I believe TeamViewer lets the user take pictures of the screen & send them back to you. With the involvement of a pc, you can see everything that is going on the screen.
Apples idea is that you use an mdm to control how the ipad is configured.
It could be that apple has these tools for internal use.

So we are using an MDM but it just sits there spinning the wheel on connecting. We have logged a ticket with the MDM support team to see if we can get it working. Teamviewer works great on android, not so much on apples.
Isn't TeamViewer available at the Apple App Store already for you to try?
They do, except it doesn't give you (as the the remote user) the power to tap, open things, enter in information ect. Its more of a viewing tool.
