Will disabling iCloud music library option delete music downloaded from iTunes music?

My music library is very convoluted because of all of the artists I have on there, so I want to disable the iCloud music option So that i only see the Music that I have downloaded not iCloud songs. However when I go to the option “disable iCloud library“ a warning pops up ”doing so will remove all Apple Music songs from this device.”

So my question is, even if I have downloaded songs from Apple Music to my iphone, will they still be removed despite them being downloaded, available to play off-line and my continued paid subscription to Apple Music?
