Login screen half black

This started last night, but whenever I open my computer the login screen looks like it has been shifted over, when I log in everything is fine though. It started after my cat walked all over my keyboard so maybe she did something

I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro mid 2012 running off macOS Sierra

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that your MacBook display appears partially black on the log in screen. You've come to the right place! I've got two great resources that can help with this issue.
