For whatever reason, Siri has stopped speaking. She(?) still responds, follows directions, etc., but she doesn't say anything. I did a factory reset, updated to iOS 11.4, but nothing. Volume is up. Sound is on. All my other apps have sound.

Once you activate Siri by pressing the Home button, have you tried raising the volume?
Thank you for your reply. Everything is turned on, but still nothing. Even when I hold down the Home button, I don't get a sound when Siri is activated. It is completely silent. I've done a factory reset and updated to the latest version of iOS 11. Anything else you could suggest? The last thing I want to do is go to the Genius Bar.

Turning the volume up won't do anything for Siri unless Siri is active. So, invoke Siri by pressing and holding the Home button. Then, while Siri is waiting for you to talk, use the up volume button.
