apple.com has two slightly different apple id's for my account with one with my new password and one with my old. One account is at appleid.apple.com and the second is at idmsa.apple.com. Laptop

I updated my password via appleid.com. My iCloud accounts have accepted this. My laptop uses my apple id password as my screen lock as does apple tv for iTunes purchase. My laptop and apple tv will not accept the new password. I have changed the password in the app store, and verified is use. My iPhone indicates that i have multiple apple ids one with all lower case at appleid.apple.com and one with an upper case first letter on idmsa.apple.com. The former has my new password the latter my old. Can i delete the idmsa linkage?
