Apple TV Keyboard Input Not Working

Recently my 4th Gen Apple TV keyboard input has stopped working. The notification shows up, but when I type on my iPhone, nothin appears on the tv. Any solutions for this? I have tried restarting both the Apple TV and the iPhone. I have unpaired the device and paired it again. I am out of ideas.

Apple TV remote keyboard not showing up Hi all, I'm having a problem using my iPhone to enter information on my Apple TV. Whenever I have to type something on my Apple TV, I get the notification on my phone. I tap the notification and the Remote app launches just fine and a text entry box appears. The problem is that no keyboard comes up so there's no way for me to type. Here's a screenshot. If I tap the keyboard icon at the bottom, the text box disappears. Apple TV Keyboard on iPhone I have recently installed a BYOD VPN program on my phone for work. After the install the keyboard function on my phone for my Apple TV no longer connects. It will pop up on my phone but never connects to let you type anything. I have restarted all devices and network devices. I have made sure that I signed into the same acct on both devices. What else could be holding things up. They are clearly seeing each other because it sends the notification but won’t let me type.

iPhone no longer controlling volume on Apple Tv My iPhone no longer controls the volume of my Apple TV. It used to work great and then one day (maybe after an iOS update?) it just stopped. The light on my Apple TV doesnt even blink when I press the side buttons anymore. Everything else works great. It’s plugged into an arc port. Settings on the tv are unchanged/correct. But I’m at a loss. Any ideas?

I have the same problem as well. I used to work fine, but now I get the version of the keyboard without the “Go” button (another thread had posted images of both) which means that there is no means to send the text back to the 4th Gen Apple TV. Very frustrating.
