Solidify Metadata Into Tracks

I have tagged all of my audio tracks with explicit tags and copyright using a software called 'Kid3' but if I transfer the audio files to a new iTunes on a different computer or I delete a track by accident and drag it back into iTunes, I lose the metadata I have added. Is there a way to solidify the metadata to the tracks so if I transfer the songs & albums to a new computer or re-import them into iTunes if I delete them the tags still stay?

Jordan,

If you edit the metadata using the "Song Info" dialog in iTunes, the new metadata will be written to the file and will be there if the file is used outside of iTunes. (This applies to unprotected AAC, MP3, AIFF, and ALAC files, but not to WAV.) This is the recommended way to edit metadata.

I am not familiar with Kid3 but apparently it is not writing the data in a way that iTunes can read.
