Why did my MacBook Air randomly start playing music youtube tab while closed and in sleep mode?

Pretty much what I wrote as a question.. My mac was closed and in sleep mode, and the tab that was on was youtube on chrome before i closed it, and I even paused the song before closing it, but it randomly started playing, my mac still being closed. Is this a system issue or could it be that someone trying to actually "hack" it?
