Today I received an email from <*****@ apple.webss74521.info.com> saying:

"Yor Account Apple ID has been Locked."

Notice the incorrect spelling "Yor" instead of "Your". Apple wouldn't do that, would they ?

It then goes on to say :

Dear Customer ,

The following changes to your Apple ID, xxxxxxxxxx@yaho.comwere made on 11/06/2018 18:56:04 AM UTC:

Billing Information

If you did not make these changes or you believe an unauthorized person has accessed your account, you must update your Apple ID account immediately.

Login to Apple ID

Apple Support

This is obviously a scam to try and get you to give away your Apple ID login details. I'm posting this here to see if anyone else has had this experience and to warn anyone of the scam.

Hi,

More than likely spam and / or scam.

Before you contact Apple to request a refund for a charge you don't recognize, follow the steps here > If you see 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support

Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address. The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information such as Social Security numbers.

The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.

Send the e-mail to Apple as an attachment to a new e-mail before deleting it. You can forward as an attachment by going to Mail/Message/Forward as attachment.
