Bank icon missing from Apple Pay notifications

Recently, the icon/logo for my card issuer has disappeared from Apple Pay notifications. Previously, a small, blue ’AMEX’ logo would appear in the corner of all notifications. Now, a generic white icon appears in its place. It has disappeared in the past on previous versions of iOS and I was able to restore it by removing the card from Apple Pay, then re-adding it. This workaround no longer seems to work. I can’t pinpoint any particular event which triggered this particular bug.

I have tried deleting the card from Apple Pay and then re-adding, uninstalling/reinstalling the Amex app, hard resetting my iPhone 7 with no sucess. This issue is only affecting this AMEX card - other cards on Apple Pay are unaffected.

Can anybody assist? I can’t find anybody else who seems to be having this issue.

iPhone 7, iOS 11.4, null

Having same issue since last few weeks, it first happened when I turned off passcode, Apple Pay was disabled and Amex was removed, then I reactivated passcode added the card back, the problem started since then, first it was showing a white icon which normally seem when installing new app, and after some updates, it now totally disappeared. Other banks icon still available when in use.
