Box Drive not syncing everything to Box Web

-missing several folders when going to the Web app

-already reinstalled Box Drive

-already disabled and re-enabled Box Web Tool

-also ejected and relaunched it

-still experiencing the same issue

-running MacOS 10.13.3

-additional inquiry: "will it consume his local drive if it's loaded to Box Drive?"


--While moving the data from local machine to BOX through Rsync we are facing the issue. We have approximately 1 TB data..

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

Does your Mac back up to other sources without problems? It appears that your difficulty is with either the product and/or the Rsync - in which case, there isn't much anyone here can do. Do you have the possibility of testing them with another platform (Windows) to see if they work there? Since they do not provide support for Macs, I doubt very seriously that they are truly compatible and, even if you get it to work now, when the OS is updated, they would most likely stop working again.


FWIW, I just googled rsync and found various discussions that the rsync has not been updated since 2006 - so that could be a problem. Another is the box which doesn't provide support.
