Will AirPods work with my iPod 5th Generation?
It has an iOS of 9.3.1. Will they work?
Unfortunately, no. AirPods require iOS 10 or later for compatibility.

Try it! If it dosen't work, upgrade to a new iPod or switch to iPhone 7 or iPhone SE.
Probably not.
Even without the iOS requirement, the 5th gen iPod Touch came ouf in 2012.
It's Bluetooth spec maybe out of date.
The new Air Pods require the most recent hardware Bluetooth spec.

I've seen on YouTube someone pair them with an iPod 4, how is this possible?
