Password won't reset for FT
Wanted to use FaceTime today, but strangely it asked for a password (previously I could access straight away when I was logged in). So I entered my pw, but it was refused.
Therefore changed the pw and received an e-mail confirmation that the change had been successful. Still, I couldn't access FT and again I changed my pw. And again received confirmation that the change had been successful. However, cannot access FT with the new pw.
The message I receive is: "An error occurred during activation. Try again".
I've tried and tried, but to no avail. I also restarted my computer.
Tried my new password to log on to Apple Communities and that worked, so I'm at a loss as to why it doesn't work with FT.
Anybody experiencing the same and / or any suggestions?
iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)
