Is iPhone X waterproof?

I have on iPhone X I sending for service in Greece and they have said that the guarantee is not covered if it is moist. an the side of apple advertise it is waterproo.

No. The iPhone is not waterproof, nor is it advertised as such. It has a degree of Water Resistance. Which means it can take some light splashing and humidity, but is not rated, for submerging, swimming, or high velocity water contact or extended exposure to water such as a strong rain, or a shower.


Water Damage caused by any of these will not be covered.
