No. The iPhone is not waterproof, nor is it advertised as such. It has a degree of Water Resistance. Which means it can take some light splashing and humidity, but is not rated, for submerging, swimming, or high velocity water contact or extended exposure to water such as a strong rain, or a shower.
Water Damage caused by any of these will not be covered.

And this photo shows the phone getting splashed, not submerged. If you took the time to read about the phone you purchased, you would have seen iPhone X is water resistant, NOT waterproof. Sorry, but if your phone shows signs of moisture inside, the warranty does not cover that. And iPhone warranty specifically says this.
That may be your conclusion. For those of us who can actually read, and take the time to do so, that is not the logical conclusion.
Go ahead and call a lawyer if you want. It won't help much other than to make your wallet lighter.
Not very likely. All any attorney will likely do is read the warranty and tell you exactly what we've been trying to tell you and that is the phone is water resistant, not waterproof as is specified in the warranty you could have read from the beginning.
What should make you sad is you didn't properly care for your phone. Apple is treating you exactly as their written warranty suggests they will. You really don't have any reason to be upset with Apple. You should be upset with yourself for not properly caring for you expensive iPhone.
No. Apple does NOT advertise it as waterproof. It is water resistant. There is a difference.
Liquid damage is not covered by the warranty.
the conclusion is that the company is misleading their customers, the phone just dropped water and stopped working. There is also the consumer protection that will help me.
I bought all the iphone and your answer is indefinable, it makes me sad that a big company behaves so to its customers.
You're not talking to Apple... This is a user forum.
the only sure thing is that I will not buy a phone again from apple, I also do not write to the forum to regret it.

Thanks for sharing... but I think I'll hold on to my Apple stock anyway.
