Add Script menu to menu bar

On my MacBook Pro, I was able to add the standard set of scripts to the top menu bar in finder:

The IT people at my job were unable to figure out how to do the same thing on my MacBook Air with IOS 10.13.5 (High Sierra).

Does anyone know how?

I would prefer that both devices launch the file open dialog. I cannot find a setting in Preferences to control this behavior. Both Macs are running Script Editor 2.10 (194) and AppleScript 2.7. Developer menu item Hi,I recently reset my computer and now I'm starting up some old projects in script editor but they aren't working cause they need javascript to run in AppleScript but I can't find how to get the developer menu item under the view menu in script editor. Open the App, then open preferences, then select "Show Script menu in menu bar".
