Everything on my phone is working. Mail, phone, messages. Internet and WiFi is also working on my iPhone. Just today Find My Friends won’t locate. I’ve reset network triple checked all tabs are on. It’s still not working. I get not connected to internet (which I am) and server error, try again later. What else can I do? My phone is up to date.
I just got off the phone with apple support about this very problem. It started around 8 pm central for me last night and I tried every single method for trying to get it working again. It turns out it's an engineering problem and has to do with your iCloud account and not your hardware. For me, neither Find My Friends nor Find my iPhone works on either my iPhone X or on the iCloud website via browser on my laptop. They told me that they have received numerous reports about this in the last 24 hours and elevated the status of my issue to engineers higher up on the ladder. I'll go ahead and reply to this as I find out more information.

Turn your router off for 20 /30 seconds when it's back on go to settings on iPhone down to reset Reset network settings After reset enter your router wireless key.

Thank you. I went to the Apple store hoping that they can fix it, no luck. They said they haven’t seen this problem. I relieved to hear it’s not just me. Please keep me informed when you hear anything. Now we wait, I guess. Thanks a bunch.
Thank you SO much for posting this! I have deleted Find My Friends and spent the past two hours trying to resolve the issue so I could figure out where my kids were!!!! Keep us posted!!!!
I guess tech support got right on it. My find friends is working again. Yay
same! I was just about to update my post. Just checked it again and it's back to normal. Glad this was resolved so quickly.
