iPhone X Overheating and Ghost Touch

Hi,

I bought the iPhone X about over a month ago and I've been experiencing some issues.

1. The phone overheats when I use Instagram/YouTube and/or play a game, I've tried closing apps from the app switcher because I thought that that was the problem. (It keeps overheating)

2. In the middle of me scrolling through stories/watching netflix/youtube it just decided that it doesn't me to control the phone. As in, it just presses things on its own and controls the phone by itself. For instance, I was scrolling through stories on Instagram today and at some point the phone just pressed the screen and skipped stories by itself.

And it sometimes gets stuck on the home screen and I'm not able slide to get to an app.

I have no idea what to do. I'm scared that if I'd fix it it'd just make it worse.
