Using Apple Watch with a walker

Will Apple Watch series 3 count my steps if I use a walker. My Fitbit Versa does not.

Steps using a walker I got an Apple Watch 4 a couple of months ago & love it. But, I’m using a rollator walker for balance when I leave the house. I’m very active at the gym, shopping, driving, everything. But, I don’t think it’s counting all my steps. Is there something I’m not seeing on my watch that I need to activate? It tracks the time on the elliptical, rower & core exercise. But, I want all those steps tracked!! Any advice would be appreciated!

Will the apple 4 watch detect and count your steps if your arms are not swings. Pushing walker or shopping cart will the Apple Watch 4 detect and record steps if your arms are not moving because you are pushing shopping cart or wheelchair or use a walker?

Probably won't with an Apple Watch either but with one with GPS it will show the distance you traveled.
