Music Display on Home Screen

I always make sure that my apps are up to date, however here recently on the last software update the music app continuously appears on my home screen even when the app is closed. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be happening, but even when my wifi and bluetooth is off it is always on my home screen. If this is a software glitch, please add it to the list of glitches in the next update to fix. Please let me know if there is another way to remove it from my home screen.

Hey caitlyn317,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your Music app appears on your lock screen even when you've closed the app. Just to be clear, your lock screen is what appears when you attempt to unlock your iPhone either with a passcode or Touch ID. If this sounds like what you're experiencing, I have some information that may help. What I'd suggest is to go to Settings App > Notifi c ations > Music, and th e n turning of " S h o w on Lock Screen". From there, restart your iPhone normally, enable this again if you wish to use this feature in the future, and test it out.
