Apple TV constantly disconnects from Home Sharing

This has become a daily occurrence. Every time I go and click on the "Home" App on my Apple TV it won't connect to my iTunes library on my computer. I have to go and quite my iTunes on my computer and open it again and it reconnects. All software is up-to-date on both units. I've also tried everything in the Home Sharing Support site (Get help with Home Sharing for iTunes libraries - Apple Support) Can anyone tell me how to solve the problem? It's a minor annoyance, I know, but would like everything to work seamlessly if I can. Thanks in advance for any advice on solutions.

I had it happen once that the iTunes Library could not be found. I turned out I was logged out of the account in iTunes, probably from checking Stores in other countries. After changing to the native Store and logging in again (menu: Account), it was okay again.

I've also tried everything in the Home Sharing Support site (Get help with Home Sharing for iTunes libraries - Apple Support)

(I realize that was covered in 3. in the linked article, but it has been easily overlooked in the past.) Is the Mac with iTunes awake and recently networking when you try to connect from the Apple TV? It may be that a sleeping computer with wake-on-LAN off, is unreachable for other devices. Try setting Energy Saver to Computer sleep: ‘Never’, and turn ‘on’ Wake for network access. Does that solve the lack of connectivity?
