GarageBand updated to 10.3.1. When I tried to rum my D16 plugin it asked for permission to lower security level, I said yes and the plugin is working again. Previously you had no option as it basically said your plugin was toast. Apple, get your act together.

A simple regression test literally checking if ANY plugin loaded after launching application would have found this.

It's very disappointing and even concerning that a company this size, with so many customers could drop the ball on this (multiple times even).

Who is in charge of QA over there? Why was a test not added after this failed last time?

As other's said you may have some luck restoring to 10.2 but this may come with other unintended consequences (for instance my C01UPRO Mic doesn't work at all anymore in 10.2)

I'm having the same issue. I'm no long able to use Amplitube 3 or Guitar Rig 5 in GarageBand. Strangely enough, Guitar Rig 5 still works in MainStage 3. I'm pretty disappointed as GarageBand is one of the major reasons why I stick with Apple products. I was planning on upgrading to Logic in the next few months but I won't risk that considering the compatibility issues with GarageBand.
