Will the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard ever be fixed?

I’ve read and tried all of the copy paste suggestions posted by Apple. This seems to be a real problem that’s quite widespread. I was wondering if there are any plans to fix the problem instead of trying to hide the symptoms as that doesn’t seem to be working either.
