error 9, unable to restore or update

error 9, unable to restore or update.


my phone was working fine until i give for a update for 11.4


the software package is getting downloaded or extracted but once installation starts in iphone the progress stop and ,y phone is stuck in recovery mode. if i get to the icare shop, the excutive is saying it is a hardware issue u need to replace the phone for 24000inr. its just two years since i bot the phone and this is not my mistake. i gave for update since the system requested to update the phone. why i should pay 24000rs for a mistake from Apple.please helpme with a solution to fix the issue in my phone.

No, your idea dint help me and i am fed up with what apple service center say about this issue.


My phone got repaired on the processes of updating the latest version of Iphone and now the Icare (Apple service center, Alwarpet, Chennai) as asked me to pay Rs.24,000 to get it replaced and the warranty period for the replaced phone is only for 3 months. How can this be acceptable? my phone got repaired because of your update and you want me to pay for it to get replaced, atleast for the sake of paying for the replacement you can extend the warranty period. They don't even give me the option of choosing the color of my phone.
