Instagram crashing on iOS 11.4

Hello all!

I have an iPhone 6S 64GB running iOS 11.4.

Instagram will not open on my device at all. I tap the app on my home screen, it shows the Instagram logo, and it instantly sends me back to my home screen. If I double tap the home button, I see that the app is still open, but any time I try tapping it it crashes.

I have already tried restarting my device, checking for an update (an update was actually released today but it didn't solve the problem unfortunately), checked for an update of iOS, and I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, all to no avail.

If it helps, I recently restored this iPhone from a previous backup of an iPhone 5C, running whatever the latest iOS that was available for it.
