old i pod will not sync with new computer
i have a new computer and got i tunes there, got the music from old i pod to the new computer but the old i pod will not sync with the new i tunes

See Recover media from an iPod just in case you've any use for the scripts that can import your ratings and playlists.
Once everything is in the library, and preferably backed up too, see Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB - Apple Support to set up syncing.
