Using a mixer output with an iPad Pro

We stream a live show every Sunday night on Facebook. We use an iPad Pro. Currently we are picking up the ambient sound from the speaker. It's good, but not great. Is there a way the sound from our mixer can go directly to the iPad so extraneous sound isn't picked up? If so, how do we do it and where can we get the necessary accessories? If so, is there a wireless method of accomplishing this?
