Can't connect ipencil. Error Message "Apple Pencil Not Connected, plug in apple pencil to use it with this iPad". Pencil is plugged in, but it isn't recognized.

If it won't pair, try the troubleshooting here, Use Apple Pencil with iPad Pro and iPad (6th generation) - Apple Support. and if that does not help, as indicated in the support document, the next step is to contact Apple.

Are you sure that the Pencil is charged? The support document that you linked to the forum with contains troubleshooting steps and how to forget the device as well. Have you done anything other than shut the iPad off and turn it back on again? If not, then try force restarting the iPad. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple Logo and then release. The iPad will reboot. It will not affect any of your data. I would also try charging the Pencil for a while to make sure that it is charged before attempting to pair it again.

I was used it less than 2 days ago, and it was running out of juice. The class ended before I got a chance to charge to.

I plugged it in today and got the same problem as Justme42day - "Apple Pencil Not Connected"

I have followed the instructions above. Initially, after 5 seconds I got an message asking to pair. Disconnected it to start using it and now it doesn't show up at all.

Have charged it for 20 minutes, restarted the Bluetooth, the iPad, even tried to charge it via the small adapter, still doesn't show up

I have an iPad Pro too (both purchased Feb 2016)
