document.referrer stopped working in Safari, both desktop & mobile.

I discovered that I cannot use document.referrer to find out the referring URL anymore in Safari. Both desktop and mobile.

It still works just fine in other browsers, but it's an issue in Safari.

Is there a known workaround for this or are we just out of luck if we happen to have a website with a lot of Safari-loving visitors?

Frustration with Safari I've used Safari for quite awhile believing it is more secure; lately, though, I find many issues that force me to turn to Firefox. Sometimes when placing an order online, the "place order" link doesn't work. The same URL on Firefox does work, so I suspect it isn't the website. I am not using using extensions on Safari. OS is 12.3.1 (Monterey), I frequently clear the cache. Is it just me?

Safari bug There seems to be a bug in Safari. You can store a web page as a tab at the top left corner of your browser (well, close to top left). I have tried this using flightradar24 page. When you login using the Sign In with Apple option, a small window appears with the Touch ID prompt. Unfortunately, when the page was stored as a tab the window does not appear and instead a new tab opens where the browser attempts to contact appleid.apple.com with some authentication data. It never opens. However, when I do the same with the regular tab, the login window appears no problem. I wonder if the problem is known. Thank you Piotr

Safari page preview on MacOS Monterey Hi, On previous versions of MacOS and Safari, we had a web page preview in Safari, just by tapping 3 fingers on a hyperlink. This is not working anymore for me on macOS Monterey - Safari 15.1 Am I the only one having this issue? Thank you
