I get a failed to send message about not allowing relaying. What does
when sending email from my comcast account i get a message - doesnt allow relaying. What does that mean?

You need to add your password to your email account on the iPhone.
1- Settings > Accounts and Passwords.
2- Tap the account you are having issues with.
3-Tap Account at top.
4- Under Incoming Server, make sure your email address and password )for that email address) are correct.
5- Under Outgoing server tap SMTP
6- Tap the entry under Primary Server
7- Under Outgoing Mail Server, make sure your email User Name and Password are correct
