Hello community......when I take photos indoors any light coming in from a window makes my picture faded and whitish.....even if the flash is off....can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?...thank you for any advise 🙂

That does not look right.
Have you checked, if there issue dust on the lens of the iPhone?
Something that is scattering the light from the window?
Also, you may want to ensure, that you are turning your back towards the window, so the light from the window cannot hit directly the lens of the iPhone.
And you may want to try to take the picture with the flash, is the contrast is so poor like in your sample photo.

I usually do have the flash on....but tried it off to see if it would help and it did not.....here is another example....flash on....there is a window yes behind them....but this is a new problem I am having
Thank you so much for your reply.....this is right in front of a window ....but it happens in a room with a window too it is like hit and miss ....I will defiantly clean my lens today....
