I had the same issue about 7 months ago with my wife’s phone because her phone got wet (heavy rain but It wasn’t on a pool or something) back then they just cleaned it and that was it, now my phone hasn’t got wet, never has been opened an I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 6!!! Please help!!

It sounds like the volume indicator is stuck on your Home screen, and I'm happy to help. If you haven't already, please try restarting your iPhone:

Try a reboot press the power button down &menu button hold both down until you see apple logo this can take 30 seconds.
