My keyboard stops working when I rest my wrists on my laptop.

I have a 2015 13" MacBook Pro running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4. Recently I've found that if I rest my wrists in the space on the laptop below the keyboard/on either side of the trackpad, the keyboard stops working. As soon as my wrists lift up, it seems to work fine again. I've had problems with the hardware of my keyboard in the past, but those were resolved a while back and this seems unrelated. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, do you know how to fix it? While I can just lift my wrists as I type, I'd rather be resting them on something (AKA my laptop).

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

It sounds like, that just with the weight of your wrist(s), there is an electrical contact between the case and the mainboard that is shorting or that the keyboard connector cable may be loose or damaged.

I would second Kappy's suggestion that you make the Genius Bar appointment to get this resolved.
