can not connect to apple family sharing

new to apple music family sharing and when my husband sent me the invitation it states This person is already a member of another family and then when I got into settings to set it up it states cannot start family sharing that my email is already used for shared purchases.

Can't figure out how to accept family sharing invitation I want to share my iTunes music with my husband. I sent a family share invitation from my iPod Nano, which is my only Apple device, to my husband's Apple ID, which uses his gmail address. We opened the message using the Mail app on his iPhone 12 and tapped "get started." It takes us to Settings>iCloud> screen and nothing happens. I already double-checked that his iPhone has an iOS and iTunes version newer than the minimum required in the sharing invitation. What are we doing wrong?

Family sharing trouble Hi all,I‘ve signed up for family sharing but when i go to invite my wife to apple music, before entering her details, it says:“Your apple id is used by another family. Your itunes account (gregga@...co.za) is used by Gregg Abrahams’s family. You will not have access to their account for shared purchases or apple music until it is removed from gregg’s family.“Thats me, gregg abrahams. This is a south african account. So i have no idea how to get around this, as to my knowledge, ive never setup family sharing previously nor being invited to another family. I also cant see where or how my account is setup, as itunes and the apple id manage section doesnt tell you anything, neither does family sharing on my iphone. Your help is much appreciated. Hopefully you and your husband are using different email addresses and different Apple IDs. if not, that would be a problem for many things, including this.

Every person needs her/his own unique Apple ID.
