e-mail Group List

Hi,

I have an email group saved in my contacts (on Mac). Some of the people on this list have more than one email address and they want to receive my emails at BOTH addresses. Unfortunately when I send an email to the group, it only goes to ONE email address per person.

The Mac support advice online has directed me to 'Edit Distribution List' in my contacts, but this only seems to allow me to choose which of the two email addresses each person will receive the group mail at.

Does anyone know if it is possible to enable my group members to receive the group email at both of their addresses?

Many thanks!

in the second screen shot , the first email address is greyed so you can select only one email address ( in the contacts I have saved two mail addresses for a person ) , so you can't sent mail to two mail address at the same time .

In this example I named the group as 1 and is signed with same apple as gmail account in i cloud account .

Thanks, yes I think that's the only way - To pretend that they're two different people and set them up as two different contacts. A bit of a pain though!

I notice by the way that Gmail allows what I need. You can select that when one group contact has multiple email addresses and a message is sent to the group, it will go to ALL the addresses. Not sure why Apple don't have a similar option.
