My keep my AirPods in the charging case unless I am using them. Now my battery doesn’t even last an hour. What can I do to improve my listening or talk time?

I'm guessing you are referring to the batteries on the AirPods themselves? You can only listen to music for an hour? Are you sure the AirPods are charged to 100%? If you haven't used the AirPods for a while, even while in the case they will discharge. You can check the battery status when you connect the AirPods to your iPhone. Yes, the case will lose charge if not connected to power, as the case attempts to keep the AirPods fully charged. Once the case discharges, the AirPods will begin to discharge as well, since there is no on/off switch on them, like any battery device.

This morning my case was at 57% and AirPods were at 100%. I re charged them and they lasted the second go around. I didn’t know they lost charge while in the case especially if the case is charged, thank you
