iphone

This is a badly organised site, I keep going round in circles! How do I stop my iPhone from playing the same song over and over when I choose a playlist please?

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.4

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Iggy2018.
If I understand your post correctly, when you select a playlist only one song plays and repeats. I'd like to help.
You can choose to repeat one song, the entire playlist, of turn repeat off completely. Here's how:

Repeat songs

Open the Now Playing screen and scroll down.

Tap User uploaded file once to turn on repeat for an entire playlist or album. Tap User uploaded file again to turn on repeat for one song. Tap User uploaded file a third time to clear the repeat.

If repeat is on, you'll see User uploaded file or User uploaded file. To turn it off, tap the button until you see User uploaded file.

Play, repeat, and shuffle music
Let us know if that resolves this issue for you.
