multiple composers in itunes

I am importing my music from a Windows PC to a new Mac. Most of the songs have multiple composers. In Windows Media a semi-colon is used to separate the composers and allow searching by individual composer. In the transfer all the semi-colons were converted to "/". This now means that "Lowe,Nick/Mayo, Gypie" is listed as one composer not two. What is the iTunes separator?

Open iTunes music library in Mac Music-no itl file I just updated from Mac OS Mojave to the latest OS Monterey. I have a large iTunes library on an external drive. I read in a support article that I should a) hold down the option key when opening Music and b)choose the iTunes .itl file as my library file so that it could be converted for use in Mac Music. The problem is that my external drive iTunes library does not have an .itl file. Screen shot shows what it does have, plus folders for all the music. sort by composer in iTunes I am running iTunes 12.7.4.76 on an iMac as of 4/30/2018. In the past, organizing music on iTunes was EASY. Now, it is frustrating and, frankly, stupidly done. Can someone tell me, and others, how to organize classical music by composer? And why is it so hard to show the tracks of a work when it is playing??iTunes needs a thorough rethink and overhaul.

export Music libary to iTunes 12.8 Is it possible to export the Library from Music under Big Sur as a xml or other file such that iTunes 12.8 can open and use it? My Music is all on external server drives. The server is a MP3,1. BS is on a MM and HS (iTunes 12.8) is on an MBA.
