Will having an Apple certified location apply thermal paste void Apple care?

Hey there!

I've recently been doing some CPU/GPU intensive work on my mac (iMovie, video games, etc.) and I was researching speeding up my computer. I found that Macs are pretty bad at keeping themselves cool, so I had the bright idea of applying thermal paste.

I didn't want to go through the process of 'operating' on the computer myself, so I wanted to have 'The Mac Shack', a store certified by Apple do it for me. Suppose they were to open the back of my computer, remove the logic board and cooling unit, apply thermal paste, and return the computer in perfect shape, would Apple Care be voided?

I have a late 2016 MacBook Pro 13 inch. Thanks!

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 2 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)
