repair fee for a liquid damaged macbook pro

Basically I accidentally spilled soda onto my keyboard, I did turn off the laptop pretty soon after the spill, and the laptop is not working. Just want to know if it's repairable and how much is the repairing fee for that. It's a 13 inches mac book pro.

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

https://www.apple.com/support/products/mac.html

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test

Genius reservation http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/

on-line https://getsupport.apple.com/

check warranty https://checkcoverage.apple.com/

Similar to AppleCare+ for iPhone and iPad, each incident of accidental damage for Mac will carry its own price tag. Screen damage or “external enclosure damage” will run $99 per incident, while other damage, including water damage, will run $299. Users receive coverage of two incidents under AppleCare+, and after the two incidents have been used up, out-of-warratny replacement rates will apply

To add to Bob's excellent advice, historically the majority of MBPs that get a drink of soda, coffee, juice, beer and other such delights never recover and have to be scrapped. If you have homeowners'/renters' insurance it very likely covers accidental damge to your tech. Check you coverage and, if it applies, put them on notice of an incident as soon as you can.

We are end users like you so no one here can give you an itemized cost. However, follow-up posts here from others in a similar mess situation suggest that at minimum a new logic board--the usual requirement--is in the US$700-1000 range if Apple does the repair. Apple may not elect to repair if the computer model is older. Their policy is they provide parts and service only for models discontinued within the last five years.
