can i get my childs imessages with family share?

In the past my family has shared one Apple ID. Is been fine but as they get bigger the issue with constantly getting each other’s texts and the messages getting mixed I am trying to set up family share.

My question is, Am I able to get my child’s iMessages when using family share like I could when we had the same Apple ID across all devices? They are 13 and 15. Thanks.

No. Family sharing does not include sharing of personal information linked to private AppleIDs and accounts. So you can’t see anyone's iMessages, FaceTime calls or iCloud email and data using family sharing.

Apple treats each owner of an AppleID with the same privacy rights as every other owner of an AppleID (Privacy - Apple). Private service account information linked to an AppleID is not shareable.
