I have problem with vocal recording, when i upload my instrumental and start recording vocal, instrumental is recording together with vocal. but later i didn't had this problem, i think i might be pressing something and now just don't know how to undo it.. please help. thanks
Do you mean the instrumental part is recoding to the vocal track, also? Could it be your mic is picking up the vocals from your playback speakers?
If audio is recording on both the instrumental and vox tracks, you should disarm recording on the instrumental track (if it's armed, which I think is the case). Say, Audio 1 track (see screenshot) is your instrumental and it's armed for recording along with Audio 2 (which is the vox). To disarm it, click on the "R" button. Cheers!
I have updated my logic Pro to Version 10.4.1. I am having sillier problems, when i try to record vocals its mixing channels at time and also when i add a new track. the vocals are recoding with some form of effect on it and its been driving me crazy. first i thought it was my Mic, then i used another one. i then though out could be my Apollo 8 interface, i then changed that to a Apollo Twin duo, the problem is still there.
Then i try record vocals on a old track, then it seems to be fine, however when i tried adding a new track i was having the same problem again.
I then spoke to a friend of mine who is still running Logic Version 10.3 and he seems to be doing fine.
