apple music keeps downloading songs even automatic download is disabled

i disabled apple music to download songs automatically and had mobile data option turned off.

however, when wifi is connected, new songs in the playlist are automatically downloaded, how do i stop it?

I see from your post that you're having some trouble with songs automatically downloading to your iPhone even though the option is turned off. I'd like to help out.

If you're an Apple Music subscriber, then you'll want to turn off the setting for automatic downloads in Settings > Music. If you're downloading songs from iTunes, then the settings you'll want to turn off is in Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.

Turn on Automatic Downloads for iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store purchases
Add and download music, shows, and movies from the Apple Music catalog - Apple Support

Ensure that both of these are turned off. If they are and you're still having trouble, try toggling the option on, restart the iPhone, and then toggle the option off again. Let us know if that prevents songs from automatically downloading.
