my calendar on my iPhone is empty

My once full calendar on my iPhone suddenly became a blank calendar. I need to somehow retrieve all of those reminders and activities. How do I do it? I never backed it up on iCloud. Please help! I have an SE and have the iOS 11.4 updated version. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It's my understanding that your calendar is now blank. I do have some suggestions that may help. If you haven't done so already, restart your iPhone. This can help resolve issues like this. Next, check to see what default calendar is set to. Go to Settings > Calendar to find it. Also, check to make sure that your calendar isn't turned off. Open up the Calendar app, then at the bottom tap on Calendars. You should see a list, you want to have a check mark next to your calendar with the entries. Hello, Mumphus.

Double check your settings to make sure calendar is on for the account. Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords > Email Account. You can also turn off the calendar and turn it back on to see if it resyncs. If the steps provided didn't help, you'll need to check the source of your calendars to see if the data is there. For example, like Gmail or Yahoo. This can help us determine if the issue is with the iPhone.
