Turn off auto-sleep iPhone with timer?

iPhone X iOS 11.4.1

I love the timer/stopwatch software that comes with my iPhone, but it always goes to "sleep" and then I have to login to the iPhone with PW or Face recognition to get back to the timer and use it.

Thus,

  1. How do I disable the auto sleep function just for the Apple supplied timer/stopwatch/clock?
  2. Somewhat related, how does one adjust or disable the auto sleep function for any other app on the iPhone?

Thanks!

Hello CharPatton,

I see that you want to know how to adjust the Auto-Lock settings on your iPhone. I'd be happy to provide you some information to help.

You can adjust your Auto-Lock settings, by going to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. You can change those options from 30 Secsonds up to 5 Minutes or Never. Test this out with your Clock app and see if the issue remains.
